It's important to consult your doctor if you experience new eye conditions, a sudden decrease in vision, or any eye reactions. Also, seek medical attention if you have a history of increased eye pressure, are taking medication for it, or have risk factors for glaucoma.

When using LATISSE®, be aware that it may cause increased brown eye coloring, albeit rarely and it could be permanent. It's important not to apply LATISSE® inside the eye or to the lower lid. Make sure to get complete application instructions from your doctor.

HOW TO USE

LATISSE® solution should always be placed on the provided applicator and applied carefully across the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes.
LATISSE® solution should never be applied to the lower lid, in the eye, or as an eye drop. After 16 weeks, talk with your doctor about ongoing use.

PREPARE

  • Once nightly, make sure your face is clean and makeup and contact lenses are removed.

  • Remove a sterile applicator from the tray. Then, while holding the applicator horizontally, place one drop of LATISSE® on the area of the applicator closest to the tip but not on the tip.

APPLY

  • Immediately brush the applicator carefully along the skin at the base of the upper eyelashes (where the eyelashes meet your skin), going from the inner part of your lash line to the outer part.

  • Use a tissue to blot any excess solution that goes beyond the eyelid.

REPEAT

  • Throw away the applicator. Each applicator should be used once.

  • Repeat the steps for the opposite eyelid with a new, sterile applicator.

FAQs

How does latisse solution work?

It is not certain about the exact mechanism by which LATISSE® works. However, It is believed that it functions by extending the growth phase (anagen) of the eyelash hair cycle. Anagen is the phase during which hair grows. We think that LATISSE® prolongs the duration of the anagen phase and increases the number of hairs in this growth stage.

How soon will I see Results?

With LATISSE®, you can expect gradual lash growth and noticeable results within about a month, with full results in just 16 weeks. Discontinuing use will cause lashes to return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months. After 16 weeks, consult your doctor about maintaining your desired look.

What are the potential side effects?

After using LATISSE® solution, common side effects may include itching and redness in the eyes, experienced by about 4% of patients. Other less common side effects might occur on the skin near the application site or in the eyes, such as skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness, and redness of the eyelids. LATISSE® patients should seek immediate medical advice if they develop a new ocular condition, experience a sudden decrease in visual acuity, undergo ocular surgery, or experience any ocular reactions, especially conjunctivitis or eyelid reactions.

What happens when I stop using Latisse Solution?

It's important to note that while LATISSE® takes time to work and grow lashes, if you discontinue use of the product, your eyelashes will gradually return to their previous appearance over the course of several weeks to months.

What If I forgot to apply one night or two nights?

If you happen to miss an application, do not try to make up for it. Just continue with the LATISSE® treatment the next evening and stick to your usual schedule.

Is Latisse a replacement for mascara?

LATISSE® is not a substitute for mascara. Instead, it is a treatment designed to enhance lash growth for individuals with insufficient or inadequate lashes. A doctor's prescription is necessary to obtain LATISSE®.

Can I use Latisse solution if I wear contacts?
